💫FOLKLORE 💫 With her surprise drop on July 24th, Taylor Swift took over the music scene once again! 6 weeks later, it is still sitting at number 1 on the Billboard charts. This is just one aspect of this album that is record breaking! Knowing that her fans can pick up even the smallest hint at a new era, she made sure to keep this almost completely a secret! Fans did notice after the album dropped that maybe Taylor had given them a hint after all. She posted a picture on April 27th saying, “Not a lot going on at the moment,” - little did we know she was already working on the album! Taylor Swift really gave us the quarantine hope we all needed. As if Swifties weren’t ride or dies before, Folklore has sealed the deal!
Ooo Baby, Babyyy! 🍼Everyone’s favorite ginger from across the pond welcomed Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran with his wife Cherry on September 1st. Knowing how his wife has inspired some of his most loving and endearing songs, we can’t wait to hear the songs that will be written about this sweet baby! Earlier this year he announced that he would be stepping away from social media and touring in order to just focus on himself and his wife, and that was just in the knick of time! We are sure that the worldwide superstar songwriter will be completely and entirely wrapped around little Lyra’s finger. Congratulations to this beautiful family!
Not only did Ed Sheeran welcome a little bundle of joy into the world, so did Katy Perry! In the same week she dropped her 6th album Smile, which is full of bangers💥, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom welcomed their daughter Daisy Dove Bloom on August 26th!🌼These loving parents had been dropping hints all along of what their precious daughter would be named! The lead single from the album is “Daisies,” and Katy Perry also said that this was Orlando Bloom’s favorite song from the album. We should have known that she was giving us a clue! Daisy Dove has been blessed with the most impeccable genes and is destined for creative greatness (whether on the radio or on the big screen)!!
2020 has given us a lot of headaches, but it has finally shined a small light and gave us something to be excited about! Justin Bieber gave fans a different kind of content. DJ Khaled and Drake released “Popstar” a few months ago, July 17th to be exact, and people ate that stuff up! But then, they gave us the music video starring everyone’s favorite popstar Justin Bieber himself!? 🙌🏽 The video is just over eight minutes long, and for that small amount of time, the world was just so so good again! The video consists of the Biebs taking over Drake’s role and living the stereotypical popstar lifestyle. At the end of the video we get a glimpse more of what his life probably has been lately - at home with his wife Hailey! We can’t wait to see what else Justin might be planning to surprise fans with! 🤗
Ladies and gentlemen, Liam Payne is engaged! 💍 The One Direction sweetheart we all know and love is officially off the market! After a little over a year of dating, Liam Payne and model Maya Henry are engaged to be married! With many artists taking time to step back and focus on family, Liam has been doing the same! It seems that quarantine has definitely helped this relationship to grow. As well as putting a ring on Maya Henry’s finger, Liam Payne has teased that new music could be around the corner. With appearances on shows like Good Morning America and live virtual concerts, Liam is getting fans excited for something new! The success of LP1 and his engagement show that Liam is all grown up, but we will always remember how he started out! 💜
