We might be getting close to the end of Pride Month but that doesn’t mean the celebration ends there! This month is about showing your pride however you want and being an ally in whatever way you can. We’ve been listening to our favorite LGBTQ+ anthems all month and have compiled them here for the perfect pride playlist. Read and listen along with us! 💫

No pride playlist would be complete without this bop! Since its release in 2011, this song has been a hit for anyone who’s ever needed encouragement to embrace their uniqueness. 🥳

”Don't hide yourself in regret, just love yourself, and you're set. I'm on the right track, baby, I was born this way.”

Released in 1986, this song quickly became a standard in the LGBTQ+ community. Cyndi has been an ally for many years and has family who identify as queer. She even started a non-profit dedicated to ending homelessness among queer youth called True Colors United. 🤗

In this powerful ballad, Sam sings passionately about his love for a man and how he should be accepted. The confessional style of the song is so emotional and impactful. 💜

When Muna collaborated with Phoebe for this song, we knew it would be an instant hit. Naomi McPherson, the lead guitarist in Muna, even described it as “a song for kids to have their first gay kiss to.” The music video is a parody of the satiric movie “But I’m A Cheerleader” and features all the musicians on the track to make a lively story. 🤩

We could never have a pride playlist without the iconic band, Queen. In this song, Freddie Mercury’s signature vocals tell a tale of falling in love and wanting desperately to have complete freedom in his love. The music video for this song even features the whole band in drag and is so much fun! 🤘

These talented singers, who are both bisexual, teamed up to pen a love song to a woman in a heartbreakingly beautiful ballad. Just the use of female pronouns by these two popular artists is such a great step towards inclusivity. 💞

In this song, both women sing about the beauty of femininity and the fun-loving nature of the girls they think about. 🍒

“You're such a dream, I'm dying to see, oh if it's real if it's sweet.”

Iconic artist, Frank Ocean, released this song as a single in 2017 to a flurry of support from fans both over the music and his openness. Since then, the song has become a major anthem in the bisexual community. 🎤

This song was written with the intent to appeal to Diana’s LGBTQ+ fanbase after multiple drag queens began dressing as her at a New York gay club. Over the years, this song has cemented itself as a pride anthem. 🎶

As we close out Pride Month, let’s remember that we should take every moment to be proud of who we are and who we love. Looking to our favorite LGBTQ+ and ally artists is a great way for us to remember these messages of love and freedom. Listen to the rest of our favorite pride anthems here!🥰
