The 64th Annual Grammy Awards had our jaws on the floor and music in our hearts! From incredible performances by a wide variety of artists, to many well deserved wins, the night was nothing short of a celebration. Closing out the biggest night in music, let’s take a look at some of the highlights from the night! 🏆

While every Grammy award presented is massively important, the “Big Four” are typically regarded as the most infamous awards. These categories include Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Best New Artist, and Song of the Year. This year, we saw so many AMAZING nominees in each category! The winner of the Record of the Year AND Song of the Year was Silk Sonic for Leave the Door Open! The duo also took home Best R&B Performance (in a tie with Jazmine Sullivan) and Best R&B Song of the Year. Fan favorite Olivia Rodrigo was awarded Best New Artist in addition to Pop Vocal Album and Pop Solo Performance! To wrap up the “Big Four”, Jon Batiste accepted Album of the Year for his sensational work, We Are. Jon led the night, winning five out of his eleven nominations! Congratulations to every single award winner and nominee! 🎉

In addition to prestigious awards, the Grammys also delivers incredible musical performances. While we saw a plethora of talent last night, let’s highlight a handful of performers! Silk Sonic opened the show with their hit, “777”. The duo set quite a precedent for performers to follow, with one of a kind studded suits, spirited energy, and a soft orange glow that can only be associated with Las Vegas. These Grammy winners rocked the MGM! 🎰

Five-time-winner Jon Batiste delivered an amazingly vibrant performance of his Grammy winning song, “Freedom.” Complete with bright colors and dancers, this performance was beautifully captivating. From gracefully playing the piano to showcasing impressive moves, Jon Batiste deserves all the recognition! 🌟

Olivia Rodrigo made her Grammys debut earlier this week not only in nominations, but with an outstanding performance of, “driver’s license”. With a beautiful stage simply set to resemble an empty street, Olivia emerged from a vintage Mercedes-Benz and sang her heart out. Her live performance abilities gave us goosebumps, and the simplistic beauty of her outfit complimented the scene so well. With this being her first Grammys appearance, we can get used to seeing her up on that stage! 🥰

All of the young women in music brought their all to the Grammys. Academy favorite Billie Eilish began her hit song, “Happier Than Ever” in a set of an upside-down house with water pooling around her ankles. Billie dawned a T-shirt featuring the late Taylor Hawkins, a beautiful tribute to the life of this music legend. As the song picked up, Billie exited the house and stood on top of it, bringing it home in the second half of the ballad. Joined by her brother and producer, FINNEAS, the two lit up the stage with this performance. With 12 nominations between the siblings from Los Angeles, these two have proven to be legends in the making! 💫

Lil Nas X absolutely rocked the house! He brought a medley of his hit songs to the stage and featured commentary about his work from Twitter and other news sources. This performance saw three costume changes, a captivating dance number, and none other than Mr. Jack Harlow delivering his verse from the artists’ song together, “Industry Baby.” Though Lil Nas was not awarded any Grammys last night, he went to the show with FIVE nominations–an honor within itself! 😱

Lady Gaga paid a wonderful tribute to legend and long-time friend, Tony Bennett during the show. Tony, having retired from performing, was not present, but Lady Gaga gave a lovely performance to honor their friendship over the years. The two collaborated on the album Love for Sale last year, which saw five nominations and one win on Sunday. This iconic duo has done so much for music! 💚

BTS gave us quite a show! With a James Bond inspired performance, audience members and viewers alike were left wanting more! These men definitely know how to put on a performance, from incredible synchronized dancing to maneuvering through spy-like laser lights. Although they did not take home any awards last night, we just know the best is yet to come for them! 💜

With eight nominations going into Sunday night’s event, Justin Bieber gave a piano rendition of nominated song, “Peaches.” He was joined onstage about a minute in by fellow features on the song, Giveon and Daniel Caesar. A beautifully mellow performance, the trio made sure to let us know exactly why this song was nominated so much this year: the pure talent they all exude. We can’t get this song out of our heads! 🎧

And just like that, the 2022 Grammy Awards have come to a close. Every performer, nominee and winner deserved to be there due to their hard work and contributions to the music industry, and we could not be happier for everyone involved. With these performances and works of art still fresh in mind, we already cannot wait to see what the 2023 Grammys will have in store! ✨
