If you’re like us, you tuned into the Super Bowl LV on Sunday, not for the football, but for the performances from some of our fav artists! Here is a recap of the music that rocked this year’s Super Bowl! 🥳

First up for the night was our Rock Queen Miley Cyrus! Miss Miley took the stage for the Super Bowl pre-show, and she KILLED IT. Not only did she flawlessly cover hits like “Jolene” and “Heart of Glass,” but she also gave us exactly what we wanted…“The Climb” and “Wrecking Ball!” She then surprised the audience by bringing up rock icons Billy Idol and Joan Jett. Billy Idol performed his classic hit “White Wedding,” and Joan Jett performed “Bad Reputation.” This entire set just proved what we already know: Miley is creating her rock and roll legacy! 🤩

With a tradition that started with Faith Hill in 2009, “America the Beautiful” was performed before the National Anthem. This year’s performance was by H.E.R. At only 23 years old, H.E.R. talked about how blessed she felt to be performing on one of the world’s largest stages. This Grammy-winning singer wowed viewers with her stunning vocals and a shredding guitar solo as well. It was definitely one for the record books! 🎸

Next up was the singing of the National Anthem! This year we were blessed with the performance of “The Star-Spangled Banner,” sung by Eric Church and Jazmine Sullivan! The 2020 CMA Awards’ Entertainer of the Year and the 12-time Grammy nominee captivated the entire stadium and proved to be the PERFECT duo for the job! They each sang a verse on their own then both sang together in the end and gave us all chills! 😍

And then... the moment we all were waiting for… The Weeknd’s Halftime Show! The Weeknd’s performance was unlike any we had ever seen, and we LOVED it! Due to COVID, for the first time in fifty-five years, the stage was set up in the stands of the stadium and not the middle of the field. But The Weeknd still captivated the entire audience from afar with an entire ensemble behind him! He performed the hits we love him for like “Starboy” and “The Hills” before entering a maze of mirrors and lights behind the stage singing “Can’t Feel My Face.” He closed the show by bringing his look-a-like dancers in face bandages to the field to perform his recent hit, “Blinding Lights!” It was a halftime show like no other, and it was AMAZING! ✨

The fun didn’t stop with the end of the game! Some of our favorite stars made an appearance at the post-game show for the Verizon Big Concert for Small Business! The event spotlighted small business owners across the country and musical guests in between! We got to hear songs from stars like Alicia Keys, Miley Cyrus, Brandi Carlile, H.E.R., Jazmine Sullivan, and Luke Bryan! We love seeing our favs celebrating small businesses! 🎉

2021 has been such a great year already for music, and the Super Bowl LV was no exception! Each performer gave it their all and did not disappoint. We hope you enjoyed the music behind this year’s Super Bowl as much as we did! 💜
