Summer is finally heating up, and we want to celebrate by telling you about some of the best summer songs we know - just in time for the Fourth of July! Since we can actually go out and spend Independence Day with other people this year (and most importantly go see some fireworks), it’s time to get your jams queued up to play at any and all parties you go to!! Here are 5 of our favorite summer songs from our new playlist: Songs of the Summer. 🎵
“Levitating” is honestly one of our favorites of the year - not just the summer. Ever since Dua Lipa released this dance-pop hit, we have been playing it on repeat! The chorus is so catchy, and we can’t help but sing along the minute we hear it come on the radio, TikTok, or our playlist.
DaBaby truly brings the extra sparkle the song needed to give it more dimension and diversity. You can catch us dancing to this track all summer long! 💖
“Golden” - Harry Styles
Harry Styles knew exactly what he was doing when he released his feel-good, cheerful tune, “Golden.” This song totally encompasses the feeling of the warm summer sunshine beating on your skin and the humid heat that makes us want to go swimming immediately.
It’s hard to feel sad when listening to this song, so we definitely want to hear “Golden” play at every BBQ that we go to this summer! 🌞
“Sunday Best” - Surfaces
“Sunday Best” is a song that blew up on TikTok last year and even inspired a dance trend using the song as the background music! It’s no surprise that it made it big, especially considering the happy lyrics and dreamy melody.
The chorus of the song says, “Feeling blessed, never stressed. Got that sunshine on my Sunday best.” That is exactly how we want to feel all summer long and listening to “Sunday Best” is definitely one way to help accomplish that goal! 🙏🏼
Megan Thee Stallion is an artist that we always listen to when we’re in need of some cheering up. Summer is all about feeling confident, happy, and dare we say it - sexy. Hot girl summer (a term coined by Megan herself) is real, and “Savage Remix” definitely makes us feel good in our own skin. We hope it does for you too!
Megan Thee Stallion and Beyonce truly bring the heat in this hip-hop beat that we can’t get enough of. 💥
The last song we want to feature from our summer playlist of course has to be “Peaches” by Justin Bieber. This song is one of our fav love songs of the year! After landing at No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, “Peaches” took the Spring by storm and is guaranteed to continue its reign all throughout Summer 2021.
This song features soft, sultry vocals from both the notable Daniel Caesar and the up-and-coming artist, Giveon. Make sure to check them out after you get done playing “Peaches” on repeat! 🍑
