Last Friday, Harry Styles released his third solo album, Harry’s House, and his fans have been nothing but supportive, as usual. The past weekend has had our timelines full of fans raving about his album, performances, and pop-up shops. We are here to provide a recap on all things Harry that happened over the last few days! ✨
Thursday, May 19th:
Harry’s first performance of songs from the highly anticipated album came before it officially dropped! The Today show had Harry on to play a couple of songs and give a sneak peek at what the album held. Fans waited in the rain for hours, some even overnight, to see the show. He began the performance with “As It Was,” transitioning into “Boyfriends.” The crowd fell silent and held their breath as the song he previously debuted at Coachella rang out. He continued with “Watermelon Sugar” and “Golden” as well as unheard tracks “Late Night Talking” and “Daylight.” He closed out the show and went on his interview, where he answered many burning questions about the
album, like, where he got his inspiration from, what his favorite songs are, and what his plans are for the future. Friday, May 20th:
After months of fan theories and excitement building, Harry’s House was finally out. At midnight Eastern Time, the album was officially released to all streaming platforms and physical stores, and within two hours, it was already breaking records. The album earned the most first-day streams for a pop album released in 2022 on Apple Music, the most first-day Alexa album requests for a male artist in Amazon Music history, and gained over 61,000 chart sales in the UK, marking his biggest personal debut ever. Later that night, his first headline show of the album, “One Night Only,” was held at UBS Arena in Elmont, NY. Fans traveled from all over North America and even beyond. Known for his unique fashion sense, he did not disappoint with a custom Gucci
outfit featuring leather pants, a patterned shirt, and Adidas x Gucci sneakers. Before the show, one very lucky superfan and influencer, Brittany Broski, got the chance to meet Harry! His team reached out to her and helped get them in contact resulting in the sweetest meet-up. Harry will be going on a short tour, “Love On Tour,” in select North American cities from August 15th to November 15th, 2022. Fingers crossed, we can get tickets and maybe even meet him ourselves! 🤞🏽
Saturday, May 21st:
Styles’ fans flooded the pop-up shops on Saturday. With shops in Dallas, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Toronto, London, Berlin, Paris, and Amsterdam, people had plenty of opportunities to buy the latest merch! Items sold included exclusive shirts, vinyls, CDs, and hats. In several cities, merch will continue to be sold through the rest of the week. If you are in Los Angeles, New York, and London, you can continue to shop while everyone else keeps their eyes on Harry’s online store! 🏠
