New Music That's Perfect for the End of Summer ✨

We are all sad that summer is coming to a close, but do not worry! If you are looking for some motivation to power you into the fall, you’ve come to the right place! With the Band is here to let you know that some fun stuff is on the horizon, and you do not want to miss out!

Beginning with our favorite red headed artist, Ed Sheeran announced his fourth studio album = (Equals) to be released on Friday, October 29th. We all know that it is nothing out of the ordinary for Sheeran to drop out of the public eye and then to reappear without notice. However, times have changed, and Ed is now a dad! We all support the hiatus Ed has taken, but also are anxiously awaiting for this 14 song epic album to drop! 🦋

Another artist we are excitedly anticipating to drop an album is our favorite country girl Kacey Musgraves! Let's be honest… We all have been lacking some sparkle from our dearest country galpal. Following her 2019 Grammy winning album Golden Hour, Kacey will be releasing her fourth studio album titled Star-Crossed on September 10th. 💫

To hold us over until then, Kacey released her first single off the album titled, “star-crossed” After hearing how amazing this single is, we are so thankful that September is only right around the corner! We are also obsessed with this new era that Kacey is creating, which she showcased in a video posted on YouTube titled ‘star crossed: the film’. We know this era will be happy & sad at the same time. Now we don’t know about you guys, but it is kinda putting us in our feels - What do you think? 💔

In other news, we are happy to announce that our girl Lorde has finally dropped her highly anticipated album Solar Power! We already knew, from Lorde wearing the iconic yellow dress and leaping across the beach, that this album was going to be the perfect way to end our summer and enter into the fall. And just like that, on August 20th, Lorde released Solar Power, and it was straight sunshine. Unlike her previous album Melodrama, Solar Power is arranged with the simplicity of guitar, keys, percussion, and voice. To say we have missed the angelic vocals from Lorde is an understatement - How did we go so long without them?! ☀️

We also have to mention some new or upcoming singles from our favorite artists!

Starting with the man who makes all of our hearts melt, Justin Bieber has collaborated with both Skrillex and Don Toliver for the new single, “Don’t Go.” The song was released on August 20th, with the trio also appearing in an accompanying music video! Let’s just say we aren’t mad about it! ❤️

Our second single that we cannot stop OBSESSING over is Shawn Mendes’ newest single “Summer of Love" with Tainy! Shawn has been quite active on his Instagram feed, teasing the release of his latest single, and it was well worth the wait! “Summer of Love” was released on August 20th, with a music video, and we can all agree that Shawn knows what he's doing; summer nights, cruising in the car, hanging with all your friends - Sign us up please!! 🏖

And finally, the best friend we all wish we had, Ms. Selena Gomez finally announced that new music is on the way!! Selena’s newest single titled “999” with artist Camilo is set to drop this Friday, August 27th. From her Rare Beauty Makeup line, to releasing her first Spanish-language EP “Revelación,” Selena has been busy working on many different projects. We are so excited to hear what this new single sounds like and expect nothing but the best from the queen herself! 🌸

All of this amazing new music is the perfect way for us to close out the summer! With new albums to carry us into the fall, and new singles, potentially teasing more new music to come, we can’t wait to see what’s next from all of our favs! 🥳
