This year is full of tours and concerts and of course, festivals. What makes festivals so unique is that you can see so many of your favorite artists in one place over one weekend! We love attending festivals in our favorite cities and seeing how each one is different. We have made a list of the upcoming festivals we’re looking forward to and our favorite ones that have happened! 💫

Highlights: For the first time since the pandemic began, CMA Fest returned to Nashville. Our favorite country artists including Luke Bryan, Dylan Scott, Carrie Underwood and so many more took their places on stages all across Nashville’s Broadway. This festival is unique in that many of the performances are open and free to the public in local spots. It makes for a fun weekend for locals and tourists alike! Highlights from the performances at Nissan Stadium will be aired on ABC on August 3, 2022.
Returns: June 8-11, 2023
The Governors Ball
New York, NY
Length: 3 days; June 10-12, 2022
Headliners: Kid Cudi, Halsey, J. Cole, Jack Harlow, Louis The Child, Flume, Roddy Ricch, Playboi Carti, Glass Animals
Highlights: With just 3 stages, Gov Ball is one of the smaller festivals on this list but that doesn’t mean it was any less incredible. The festival pulled acts from all genres all the way from A$AP Ferg to Clairo. One of our favorite aspects is the way that they make an effort to highlight local businesses by inviting them to be food and drink vendors at the venue. If you attended, be sure to check out the Gov Ball website’s online lost and found for any of your missing possessions.
Returns: June 9-11, 2023
Length: 4 days; June 16-19, 2022
Headliners: Gryffin, J. Cole, The Chicks, Illenium, Tool, Flume, 21 Savage, Stevie Nicks, Machine Gun Kelly, Roddy Ricch
Highlights: After a several-year hiatus, due to Covid-19 and an unfortunate flooding incident, Bonnaroo returned in 2022. This particular festival has lots of lifelong fans who have been going for many years which makes it more unique from other festivals that may have less of a dedicated audience. This year, the shows were hits with Stevie Nicks as the first female headliner and performances from local favorite artists like Coin. Though it only happened last month, we already can’t wait to see what next year might bring!
Returns: June 15-18, 2023
Length: 4 days; June 22-26, 2022
Headliners: Paul McCartney, Billie Eilish, Diana Ross, Kendrick Lamar, Olivia Rodrigo, Lorde, Phoebe Bridgers
Highlights: After a 2-year hiatus and live-streamed performances, Glastonbury Festival returned on June 22, 2022. The legendary festival, which takes place at the dairy farm known as Worthy Farm in Somerset, England, came back for its 50th anniversary with an incredible lineup. We loved all the special guests that our favorite artists brought out and are excited to see who plays it next year.
Returns: June 23-25, 2023
Gulf Shores, AL
Length: 3 days; May 20-22, 2022
Headliners: Post Malone, Fall Out Boy, Kane Brown, Halsey, Doja Cat, Tame Impala, Magan Thee Stallion, Jack Harlow
Highlights: Set up on the beach in Gulf Shores, Hangout Fest draws in a crowd of excited music lovers every year. This is another festival with a very dedicated fanbase of yearly attendees even though it only began in 2010. Some people are even such big fans that they get married at the festival’s dedicated chapel!
Returns: May 19-23, 2023
Length: 3 days, 2 weekends; April 15-17, 2022 and April 22-24, 2022
Headliners: Harry Styles, Billie Eilish, The Weeknd, Megan Thee Stallion, Lil Baby, Doja Cat, Joji, Swedish House Mafia
Highlights: This notoriously glamorous and celebrity-filled festival took place in April this year and lived up to all our highest expectations. It kicked off strong with Harry Style’s first festival performance where he brought out Shania Twain on weekend one and Lizzo on weekend two! Wallow’s lead singer, Dylan Minnette honored the local football team by wearing an Indio Rajahs jersey. Italian rock band, Måneskin, played a powerful set and the crowds went wild. It has already been confirmed that Frank Ocean will be a headliner next year.
Returns: April 14-16, 2023 and April 21-23, 2023
